NPR Axes Christian Programming
As of May 1, any NPR station carrying any Christian programming must cease and desist from doing so, according to new NPR policy. In their way of thinking, “Christian” = “sectarian”, and NPR wants to be non-sectarian, broad minded, etc. etc. I kid you not, this is the result of conscious policy on the part of NPR – click here for the story.
One more support for my thinking of NPR as “National Pinko Radio”! But really, what does it mean when one wants to be so open minded that one will not listen to a religious point of view? Seems to me this is one step toward kicking Christianity out of the public square. We can believe what we want, as long as we keep it to ourselves. As long as we stay in our own Christian radio ghetto.
