Flooded With Charitable Requests?

I don’t know about you, but I get a TON of charitable requests, via mail, email or phone, this time of year. Mostly I ignore them because I’ve chosen the charities and institutions I want to support. But if you’ve ever wondered how to sort out all these requests, I have some good news for you.

Charity Navigators (click here) “works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the Financial Health and Accountability and Transparency of America’s largest charities.” They’ll give you information and ratings on an organization’s overhead costs, administrative costs, and financial transparency.
