About Me
I was born in 1950, married (to the same woman!) since 1974; I’ve been pastoring a UCC congregation in southern Illinois since 2002. My two children have moved up and away – Sam (Earl III but no one knows him by that name anymore!) is in TX and married to Jen; Melinda is working with Kentucky Shakespeare in Louisville. We’ve also been enjoying our grandson Andrew for almost two years now.
In addition to the folks I love, my special passions and joys are the St. Louis Cardinals, Ted Drewes ice cream, Calvinism, and my 2004 Mazda Miata (“Red”).
I’m learning to blog; I’m on Facebook; I’m almost cool…
You may want to mention Andrew’s momma!

Earl – I have followed your ministry virtually participating in what are you and have been doing there by God’s grace and must say you are my favorite pastor though a ‘virtual’ and remote one!! Let’s get together again downtown St. Louis and have lunch – my treat.
